How to keep cool in the heatwave

The weather's going to rise to the high twenties in Oxford this week! We've got a few things that will help you too keep cool in the heat. 😎🌞

1. We're anticipating the sales of electric fans to go through the roof this week! For those who want to keep cool on public transport, these palm leaf fans are just what you need. They're ethically made in Cambodia by Rainstick Trading. (Disclaimer: we will not be held responsible for the number of people who want to sit next to you!)

2. Crocheted hemp and cotton mix hat, with a broad brim, which is wired to ease shaping after it has been folded in a bag or suitcase. Hand made in Nepal under fair trade conditions by Koseli

3. A selection of refreshing drinks made from Fairtrade ingredients. Ubuntu Cola, Fairtrade apple & orange juice, and Gingerella by Karma Cola. We will be stocking our staff fridge with these, just ask for a chilled one!

4. Metal straws come in handy when you want to #BreakFreeFromPlastic. Paired up with an Ecoffee Cup, it's perfect for sipping iced lattes on a hot summer's day!

And finally...if the heat gets too much, why not shelter from the heat in our nice cool and shady basement shop? We're always very happy to chat!
